LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A judge has ruled that independent presidential candidate Cornel West must appear on the Michigan ballot. The decision Saturday came about a week after West was disqualified.  The state disqualified West because the affidavit of identity he submitted was not properly notarized. But Michigan Court of Claims Judge James Robert Redford says West’s campaign submitted the proper number of signatures to qualify.  A spokesperson for Michigan's secretary of state said the office will appeal.
