GLIDDEN - A Glidden man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenager he met on a dating app.  28-year-old Jack McCarty, of Glidden was sentenced on charges in both Bayfield and Ashland counties.  According to court documents, McCarty met the victim, who was 15 at the time, on a dating app two years ago. The victim told investigators she warned McCarty she was underage. McCarty then assaulted her multiple times over a two-day period.  McCarty pleaded guilty to the sexual assault charges before receiving his sentence.
