IRONWOOD - Michigan was among the hardest-hit states with gas and diesel price increases in the past week, with AAA reporting a 60-cent increase in regular unleaded gas in the state in just seven days.  There isn't one reason for the surge - there are multiple, ranging from international oil prices to a Midwest refinery issue.  Michigan drivers are paying an average of $4.91 per gallon of regular unleaded gas, according to the AAA database. They were paying an average of $4.31 a week ago.  Ironwood prices at $4.70 a gallon this morning.  Bergland $4.86, Lac Du Flambeau $4.84, Ontonagon $4.79, Watersmeet $4.77, Mercer $4.57, Minocqua $4.52, Hurley and Mellen $4.49, Park Falls and Glidden $4.42.  The lowest price we could find was in Ashland at $4.39.
