IRONWOOD - AAA of Michigan reports that the state gas price average is up 11 cents from a week ago.  Drivers are now paying an average of $3.66 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. Despite the latest increase, this price is still 6 cents less than this time last month, but 4 cents more than this time last year. The national average sits slightly lower than the state, at $3.59 per gallon.  Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest average remains in Gogebic County.  Ironwood prices at $3.19 a gallon this morning. The highest gas prices are in Chippewa County in the Eastern U.P. at $3.78 per gallon.
