WASHINGTON DC  - This morning, Governor Gretchen Whitmer will deliver a major speech her office calls her Build, America, Build! Address in the nation’s capital.  The speech will lay out her vision for working with both parties and federal officials to build America’s manufacturing might and protect our national defense.  In the address, Gov. Whitmer will discuss the impact tariffs are having on Michigan and outline her bipartisan approach to bring supply chains home from China, create better-paying jobs, and invest in the defense industry.  The Build America, Build Address was originally scheduled for last week but rescheduled due to storm responses in Michigan.
