MERCER – Road Work starts today on Highway 51 in Mercer.   Work will take place in four stages, primarily focusing on curb improvements and adjusting corner slopes for better accessibility.  Milling and paving of the one-mile stretch is planned for the 3rd week of June with Construction pausing over the Memorial Day weekend. The entire construction project is expected to be completed before the 4th of July.
