ASHLAND – Ashland police issuing an alert yesterday on social media.  The alert stated that Ashland Police and other agencies were dealing with an armed subject in the 400 block of 13th Ave South in the city of Ashland and instructed the public to avoid that area and advised living in that area to shelter in place.  Ashland Police say the suspect was apprehended and lifted the alert.  No other details have been released.
