IRONWOOD - The Michigan average gas price is down 12 cents from a week ago, hitting a new low for the year.  AAA of Michigan reports drivers are now paying an average of $2.73 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. 38 cents less than this time last year.  The national average is 14 cents higher than the state, at $2.86 per gallon.  The lowest average gas price is in Delta County at $2.33, the highest is in Mackinac County at $3.12.  Ironwood prices at $2.79 a gallon this morning.  Prices are even lower in parts of Northern Wisconsin.
