IRONWOOD - Gas prices in Michigan are up 4 cents compared to last week.  According to AAA of Michigan, drivers are now paying an average of $3.16 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. This price is 24 cents less than this time last month and 23 cents less than this time last year. Meantime, the national average is slightly lower, at $3.10 per gallon.  Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest average is in Ironwood at $2.75 a gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.47 per gallon.
