MARQUETTE - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist was in Marquette yesterday. The two campaigned for Democratic 109th State House District Rep. Jenn Hill.  Incumbent Rep. Hill is running for re-election. Hill is running against Republican 109th State House District Nominee Nominee Karl Bohnak.  At the rally, Gov. Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Gilchrist discussed the importance of getting out to vote in a tight election.  Republican 38th State District Sen. Ed McBroom says he has a civil relationship with Rep. Hill but disagrees with many of her policies.
