MERCER - Mercer Fire and EMS responded to two separate snowmobile accidents yesterday afternoon. Mercer Fire and EMS was called to Trail 9 off Swamp Creek Road at 2:00 yesterday afternoon. Upon arrival, care was rendered, and the patient was transported to Swamp Creek Road where Beacon Ambulance was standing by. Then the snowmobiler was transported to the hospital by Medevac Helicopter. Details of the accident have not been released, and names and medical conditions of the individual has not been released. Then about an hour and a half later at 3:35 yesterday afternoon Mercer Fire and EMS was dispatched to trail 17 by Stremski Rd to a second snowmobile accident. That individual was transported to the hospital by Beacon Ambulance. Details on that accident and the condition of the snowmobiler has not been released.
