MADISON - A new study from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development predicts a deficit of anywhere between 12,000 and 19,000 registered nurses by 2040 in Wisconsin.  The report examined current rising rates of nurse vacancies around the state showing that there are not enough nurses in Wisconsin to meet the demand.
