IRONWOOD - Drivers may see a lower price for gas for the second consecutive week, as the state gas price average is 12 cents lower than last week according to AAA of Michigan.  Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.43 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. This price is 18 cents less than this time last month and 21 cents less than this time last year. That is also 2 cents less than the national average which sits at $3.45 per gallon.  Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest average is in Gogebic County at $3.10 per gallon.  Ironwood prices fluctuated up 50 cents a gallon last week before settling just below $3.00 a gallon just before the weekend.  Ironwood prices at $2.94 this morning.   The highest prices are in the Eastern U.P., Mackinac County prices are at $3.71 per gallon.
