IRONWOOD -  Michigan gas prices are still elevated, but an AAA survey shows a steep drop since last week.  The current average gas price in Michigan is $4.38 per gallon of regular unleaded gas. This is 27 cents cheaper than last week, though still $1.28 more than this time last year.  In the U.P the highest gas prices are in Mackinac County at $4.90, the lowest is in Menominee County at $3.97.  Ironwood prices at $4.45, Ontonagon at $4.78, Bergland has the lost price in the Western U.P at $4.05 a gallon.  Around Northern Wisconsin Ashland and Mercer prices at $4.19, Mellen $4.39, Minocqua, $4.28, Glidden $3.90, with the lowest gas price we could find was once again in Park Falls $3.88 a gallon.
