N. WISCONSIN – The Wisconsin inland fishing season opened on Saturday, May 3rd.  All Wisconsin residents and nonresidents age 16 or older are required to purchase a fishing license before they cast their lines which can be purchased online at gowild.wi.gov.  The DNR recommends knowing the bag and size limits for the areas you plan to fish. Hook and line fishing and trout fishing regulations can be found at dnr.wisconsin.gov.
