MADISON - The Wisconsin Department of Corrections placed three staff members on administrative leave amid an internal investigation into the agency’s response to Morgan Geyser’s escape from a group home.  The escape has resulted in the DOC now changing their procedures which includes immediately notifying local law enforcement when an ankle monitor is tampered with.  It took nearly 12 hours to notify the public of Geyser’s escape.  Geyser is known for stabbing a 12-year-old classmate to appease the fictional character Slender Man.
