IRONWOOD – Gogebic Community College announced that Denver Sharrow, of Ironwood, has been appointed as the new Gogebic Community College Head Men’s Basketball Coach, succeeding Dennis Mackey, who is retiring after 38 years.  Sharrow joined the program as an assistant men’s coach in 2021, later serving as co-head coach of the women’s team in 2023 before becoming sole head coach in 2024.  Gogebic Community College will soon post openings for the head women’s basketball coach and assistant men’s basketball coaching positions.
