MINOCQUA - The Oneida County Board of Adjustment has voted to reinstate the business permit for Minocqua Brewing Company (MBC).  The ruling was made during a public hearing on Thursday at the Oneida County Courthouse in Rhinelander.  The decision followed a temporary restraining order Kirk Bangstad filed against Oneida County.  The Minocqua Brewing Company posting on their Facebook Page “This victory doesn’t end the five-year battle we’ve had with both the Town of Minocqua and Oneida County. There are still more lawsuits to deal with, but it weakens their position dramatically”  Bangstad’s has field a lawsuit against the Town of Minocqua and several key figures, saying they violated both the U.S. Constitution and Wisconsin state law.
