MERCER - The Mercer Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 25th Annual Candlelight Ski Snowshoe Walk of the MECCA trail will be held this Saturday from 5 to 8 pm. The walk is a one-mile candlelit trail through beautiful forests and fields followed by a bonfire at the chalet, with hot cocoa, chili and cookies available. There will also be hotdogs for roasting over the bonfire. The event is free and open to the public, but of course, donations will be welcomed. The MECCA Chalet is at 4686 Fierick Road.
