VILAS COUNTY - The Vilas County Board of Supervisors will consider greenlighting the sale of Riverside Park and allocating $634,739 from the General Fund for Phase Two development. Resolution 2026 proposes three options for selling the 10 parcels; Sell all 10 undeveloped parcels to a single buyer; develop infrastructure and sell all 10 parcels to a single buyer or develop infrastructure and sell the 10 parcels to multiple buyers. The $634,739 would be recovered from the sale proceeds. The Forestry, Recreation and Land Committee recommends initially listing all 10 parcels as one on the Wisconsin Surplus Auction website with a minimum bid set by the Finance and Budget Committee. Vilas County property owners can submit feedback by viewing the supervisor list at vilascountywi.gov.
