WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING for Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties and Iron, Ashland, Bayfield and Vilas Counties in our listening area, the Watch area is likely to expand into much of the U.P. ...Heavy snow is expected at times along with blowing and drifting snow which could create whiteout conditions. Total snow accumulations of 12 inches or more are possible between tomorrow night and Thursday morning. Some models indicate 15 to 20 inches or more in snowbelt regions of Northern Iron Wisconsin along with in parts of Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties.  Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
