...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CST/ THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST/ THURSDAY... Light freezing rain is possible early this morning across parts of Western and central Upper Michigan with a light glaze of ice.   A strong low-pressure system will bring high winds, rain, and wet heavy snow to the area tonight.  Total snow accumulations between 10 and 15 inches for the Gogebic Range. Higher snow totals up to 18 inches possible in the Porcupine Mountains. Snow accumulations between 6 and11 inches except between 9 and 12 inches for northern and east-central Ashland County and between 10 and 13 inches for northern Iron County.  Wind gusts as high as 45 miles per hour.
