IRONWOOD - The price of gas is trending downward to start the week. AAA reports a 14-cent decrease in the state average from a week ago.  Drivers are now paying an average of $3.03 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. That price is 35 cents less than this time last month, and 44 cents than this time last year.  Michigan sits 10 cents lower than the national average, which is now $3.14 per gallon.  Here in the Upper Peninsula, the lowest average is in Delta and Marquette Counties at $2.96 per gallon. Mackinac County continues to see the highest average at $3.39.  Ironwood prices at $2.99 a gallon this morning.
