GOGEBIC / ONTONAGON COUNTY - Applications are being accepted for the Keweenaw Co+op’s Round UP and Bring-A-Bag programs, which use checkout donations and sustainability initiatives to benefit neighborhood organizations in Gogebic, Ontonagon, Baraga, Houghton, and Keweenaw Counties. In order to benefit more organizations, groups can only be chosen for one program every two years. Customers can round up their purchases at the register under the Round UP program, with 100% of the revenues going to the Western U.P. Food Bank and a few local organizations. Every quarter, one group is selected, with an emphasis on food-access organizations.
