N. WISCONSIN - The Barron County Sheriff’s Office has released more details on the two children who were abducted on Wednesday.  According to the sheriff’s office, on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m., the Ashland Police Department alerted the Barron County Sheriff’s Department that they received information that the two children, ages three and six, abducted from Ashland may be in the area of LE Phillips Scout Reservation near Haugen.  Deputies then began to check the area.  The suspect’s car was reportedly found in the Baronett area. Authorities say they found the suspect and the children nearby. The kids were taken to Mayo to be checked out and reunited with their family.  The Barron County Sheriff’s Office saying the suspect is related to one of the children who were abducted.  30-year-old Gage Dechant, of Drummond was then arrested without incident in connection to the abduction.  He is being held at the Barron County Jail on a probation warrant.
