IRONWOOD - The Gogebic-Iron County Airport Board learning this week that Denver Air Connection is proposing flight time changes again, effective May 1.  Board members tabled a vote on the matter while noting that more information is needed from the airline. The proposed flight times from Minneapolis now scheduled for a noon departure to Ironwood may change to 10:45 a.m., with arrival in Ironwood anticipated for 11:45 a.m. The flight from Ironwood to Minneapolis will not change while the Chicago flights: The 10:30 a.m. departure to Ironwood may change to 12:55 p.m., with arrival in Ironwood expected at 2:10 p.m. The departing flight from Ironwood to Chicago may change from a 1:30 p.m. to 2:40 p.m., with expected arrival in Chicago at 3:55 p.m.  The board voiced concern about the later Chicago flight time, as well as the number of changes to flight times over the past year.
