SUPERIOR - Authorities are investigating a fire early Monday morning at Enbridge’s office in Superior. At around 1:40 a.m., flames and smoke could be seen coming from the building. As firefighters worked to put out the fire, they noticed graffiti painted on signs and on the building. Nobody was inside at the time of the fire. The investigation is on-going. This comes as the Wisconsin DNR has requested Enbridge to stop work on its Line 5 reroute project after an unattended semi hit and broke a valve on the pipeline in Saxon last month. The pipeline was temporary shut down due to the accident; Enbridge has since resumed the flow of Oil and Natural gas through the pipeline.
