BAYFIELD COUNTY – The Bayfield County Sheriff’s office honors Corporal Richard “Dick” Parquette, who was shot and killed in the line of duty 29 years ago.  Parquette was honored at his memorial sites, where flags were lowered to half-staff, wreaths were placed and brushed away the dust that had gathered on his markers.
