UPPER MICHIGAN - Michigan environmental regulators are reviewing permits for the Line 5 tunnel project following a state Supreme Court ruling that raised the bar for environmental reviews. The 73-year-old pipeline carries oil through the Straits of Mackinac, connecting Michigan’s Upper and Lower Peninsulas between Lakes Michigan and Huron.
