GOODMAN WI - Gladstone’s Besse Forest Products announced Friday that Besse Forest Products, Inc.’s Goodman Veneer and Lumber facility in Northeast Wisconsin is closing its doors effective immediately leaving 48 workers unemployed.  The company says there are no bumping or transfer rights to other jobs or locations. None of the affected employees are represented by a collective bargaining representative.  Besse Forest Products blames an unprecedented industry downturn as the reason for the closure.
