GOGEBIC COUNTY - The Gogebic County Sheriff’s office is warning of a fraudulent business being advertised as being from Bessemer.  The Gogebic County Sheriff’s office says deputies have been taking reports regarding a fraudulent equipment implement business website using a Bessemer address. The name of the fake business is "SteelPeak Equipment Group.  The sheriff’s office says to not conduct business with them. They have used Google Earth imagery and AI to construct a fairly elaborate website profile. The Sheriff’s office says the website appears to be based out of Malaysia. The domain provider for the site has been notified in hopes to get the site taken down.
