UPPER MICHIGAN - If you’re a U.P. turkey hunter and you haven’t gotten your license, your time may be running out.  Fall turkey hunting licenses are on sale now in Michigan. This year, they aren’t drawing for licenses. Hunters can buy one turkey license for the year, and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  In the U.P., there were 2,200 licenses originally available. Right now, there are only about 375 left to purchase.  The fall turkey hunting season starts on Sept. 15 and goes until Nov. 14. You can buy your license online, on the DNR Hunt Fish App or at a licensing agent. Licenses are $15, and $6 for senior Michigan residents.
