IRONWOOD - The Michigan Western Gateway Trail Authority has 4 bench sponsorship opportunities remaining.  Each sponsorship is a one-time fee of $2,000 which includes a plaque installed on the bench in perpetuity.  There is no annual or recurring fee.  You can choose the message of your choice to go on the plaque.  There are 3 benches near the Siemens Truss bridge between Ironwood and Bessemer and 1 bench located in Bessemer on the west side of the 1st Ave bridge.  Funds raised go towards maintenance of the Iron Belle Trail in Gogebic County.  Contact Paul Anderson at the City of Ironwood with any questions.
