IRONWOOD - AAA of Michigan reports the price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is 18 cents higher than last week at $3.20 per gallon. However, compared to 2024, that price is 19 cents less.  Michigan now sits 15 cents higher than the national average, which is $3.15 per gallon just ahead of the Labor Day weekend travel period.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Houghton County at $3.16 per gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.47.  Ironwood’s prices at $3.35 per gallon as of this morning.
