N. WISCONSIN - Several campgrounds in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest could see increased fees, as proposed by the Recreation Program.  Proposed fees include increases on standard and premium single-night stays, ranging from an increase of $5 per night to $9 per night.  The proposed changes will be reviewed by a citizens’ advisory committee.  The public comment period will end September 30.  80% of the funds collected through recreation fees are used on the same forests to operate, maintain and improve facilities.
