N. WISCONSIN - There are lots of ways to help raise money for your favorite charity, but in Drummond, folks were delighted when one resident decided “flipping out” was the way to go. Six-year-old Phoenix Schiess of Drummond decided turning somersaults was the way to go to raise funds for the American Heart Association. The Ashland Daily Press reports that Schiess, a first-grader at Drummond Elementary, told his folks he wanted to help others have healthy hearts so they could do the things they love, just like him. He somersaulted for every dollar raised, totaling $2,275.27 through donations at a local store and social media. Phoenix finished among Wisconsin’s top 15 fundraisers in the 2025-26 Kids Heart Challenge, earning All-Star honors.
