IRONWOOD – The Gogebic County Fair started yesterday running through Sunday in Ironwood.  Animal judging began at 8:00 this morning, horse show starts at 10am, Free Hamburger, Hot Dog, or Brat for seniors over age 62 will be served at 11, Harness Races start at noon, Carnival Opens at 1, Bingo at 3, Live music by Mike Magee at 5pm, and the Eric Mahler Band performs at 7 tonight and 80’s Volleyball Tournaments start at 5. Many improvements have taken place at the fairgrounds in Ironwood over the last year.  The cost is $5 to get into the fair $20 if you want to ride the rides, weekend passes with unlimited rides is $60.
