IRONWOOD - Today marks the end of the Fourth of July travel period, and some parts of the Upper Peninsula are seeing a lower price at the gas pump as the state average is down 10 cents from a week ago.  According to AAA of Michigan, drivers now pay an average of $3.57 per gallon of regular unleaded gas. The national average still sits slightly lower, at $3.51 per gallon.  Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest prices are in Ironwood at $3.28 per gallon, the highest in the Eastern U.P. Mackinac County at $3.88 per gallon.
