WELLS TOWNSHIP - The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office said officers were dispatched for a water rescue at Boney Falls Campground around 7:45 p.m. last night.   It was reported that three children and one adult were in the water in distress.  The children were safely brought to shore, and a 36-year-old woman was pulled from the water and was unresponsive. Deputies and medical personnel arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures, but the woman was later pronounced dead. The name of the victim has not been released.
