IRONWOOD – Construction season is well underway in Ironwood. A $482,000 water main replacement and paving project on Superior Street and repaving on Curry Street is expected to start this week, aiming for completion by Labor Day. Additionally, $177,000 chipping and sealing, will begin Monday on Brogan, South Suffolk, Frenchtown, Burma, Penokee, and Greenbush Roads (north of Cloverland Drive/US 2), likely finishing in three days. Other ongoing projects, including Phase 5A, 5B, 5C Water, and lead service line replacement, affect many streets.
