BESSEMER – Bessemer Blast kicks off today.  50/50 tickets go on sale starting today, Geocaching and the Poker Run both start today running through Thursday July 4th.  The Tree of Honor ceremony is tonight at 7:00.  Bessemer Blast is the U.P.’s largest 4th of July Celebration with daily activities leading up to the Giant Parade and Thunder over the Mountain Fireworks on July 4th.  Organizers say this year’s celebration is bigger and better than ever with several new events including E-Sports Gaming, the Stunt Dudes BMX bike stunt shows, Pickle Ball tournaments and more live music.
