ASHLAND – An 80-year-old Ashland woman is behind bars for her fifth offense of driving while under the influence.  The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash Friday on U.S. Highway 2 near Old Highway 2 in Sanborn.  Investigators say the driver went through a curve and ended up in a swamp.  According to the State Patrol, the 80-year-old driver from Ashland showed signs of impairment and was arrested, was taken to a local hospital and later booked into the Ashland County Jail.  No name has been released.
