BAYFIELD COUNTY - A fire destroyed a home and a garage in Bayfield County early yesterday morning.  The Washburn Fire Department responded to the scene around 3:45 am in Bayview Township.  When fire crews arrived, they found both the garage and house fully engulfed in flames with fire conditions intensifying. Both structures were deemed a total loss. No injuries were reported.  Authorities say the fire likely started in the garage, which had motorcycles and a tractor inside.
