IRONWOOD - The Michigan State Police Post in Wakefield is teaming up with the Gogebic-Iron County Airport to offer a course in defensive driving for teens. The free course will have two sessions on June 28th, the first from 9 am to noon and the second from 1 pm to 4. With young people out of school and getting around in cars, defensive driving skills are key to staying safe out on the road. There are still spots available for the Teen Defensive Driving Course. Contact Trooper Joe Renaud at the Wakefield Post of the Michigan State Police or email him at renaudj@michigan.gov.
