IRONWOOD - Ironwood based Stormy Kromer’s CEO Gina Thorsen has been named top advocate for small business in the state by the Small Business Association of Michigan.

Thorsen was given the award for her efforts to recruit more small businesses in the area. In addition to her position at Stormy Kromer, Thorsen is secretary on the board of directors of the Small Business Association. She also sits on the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Executive Community and a task for the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.
