DULUTH - One person is dead and two people are behind bars after a shooting in downtown Duluth early Sunday morning.  According to the Duluth Police Department, they responded to a report of a shooting near 1st Ave. E. and E. 3rd St. around 1:30 a.m.  When they arrived, officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and eventually died.  Police say a second man was also shot but was not hurt.  The suspects, a 35-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were eventually detained by Cloquet Police and the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.  The male suspect is being held on a 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Assault charge, according to police. The female suspect is being held on Aiding and Abetting 2nd Degree Murder.  They are both being held at the St. Louis County Jail.
