IRONWOOD - Air Quality Advisories continue for today, Monday. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range for the Western Half of the U.P. including Gogebic, and Ontonagon counties. Smoke from wildfires in Manitoba and Saskatchewan continues to flow into the western part of the U.P. and Wisconsin. Outdoor burning and use of fireplaces, barbeques and campfires should be limited. For more information on air quality for Michigan, go to airnow.gov. and for Wisconsin go to airquality.wi.gov, Whenever possible, avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory diseases such as asthma.
