IRONWOOD / BESSEMER – The Summer Demo Season is officially underway!  It started with the City of Bessemer demolishing a home at 308 E. Lead Street. According to the treasures office next on their demolish list is 634 E. Ayer Street in the City of Ironwood, which many in the area known as the former Josephson Nursing Home.  The demolition projects are made possible through funding from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority Blight Elimination Grants.
