ONTONAGON COUNTY – Just after 8:30 Friday night in Ontonagon County Fire crews were called to White Tails Cabin in the Porcupine Mountains State Park for a cabin fire. While enroute to the fire visible smoke was seen coming from the Cabins location. Due to the location of the cabin only 1 brush truck and a personal pickup carrying portable pumps and wildland hoses were used to extinguish the fire. Portable pumps were set up on the shore of Lake Superior and hoses were then run up a 50ft bank to the cabins location to fight the fire.  The cabin is a complete loss.
