VILAS COUNTY - A St. Germain man charged in connection with a deadly motorcycle crash in Lac du Flambeau has pleaded not guilty and been bound over for trial. Twenty-year-old Chandler Savel faces a negligent homicide charge stemming from an October head-on crash involving two motorcycles that killed 20-year-old Peter Postema of Manitowish Waters. Another person was also injured. Savel waived his preliminary hearing on Thursday in Vilas County Court. He’s scheduled to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on December 9.
